What We do
Through these efforts, Shine provides the following programs and resources at no cost to students, schools, and community partners:
Shine Community Events – Student-centered events that build connection, belonging, and celebration.
Shine-hosted GSA/QSA Club Events – Engaging activities that strengthen school communities and foster peer support.
Shine-To-Go Boxes – Ready-to-use kits that enable schools and community leaders to facilitate affirming activities independently.
Shine On! Bags – Encouragement bags for LGBTQ+ students having a difficult day, including small comforts and community resource information.
Ally Bags – Appreciation and resource bags that encourage allyship and help build more inclusive communities.
Shine Scholarship Program – Scholarships recognizing and supporting graduating LGBTQ+ students and allies who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and a commitment to inclusion.
